St George’s Lutheran Church is a historic building in the heart of London, owned and managed by the CLC and available for appropriate use by churches, community groups, musicians and organisations.
The building is particularly well suited for:
- Worship services
- Concerts and rehearsals
- Lectures and talks
- Cultural events
- Group visits
As a historic church, the space has certain practical limitations, and all use must respect its character. Early enquiry is recommended to discuss availability, access and technical requirements.
St George’s is currently available for use by CLC member church communities at no cost. For other interested parties, the following fee schedule applies:
For charities:
| Entire church (sanctuary + front gathering/meeting room + use of ground floor vestry) | £175 for 3 hours, then £50 per additional hour |
| Mätzold Zimmer (meeting room at front of church) | £40 per hour, minimum 2 hours |
| Ground Floor vestry | £40 per hour, minimum 2 hours |
| First Floor vestry | £40 per hour, minimum 2 hours |
| After working hours | fee for duty officer: £20 per hour |
For occasional church services:
| Baptism | £75 + officiant fee |
| Wedding | £200 + officiant fee |
| Funeral | £100 + officiant fee |
