Eat & Encounter: Cook. Connect. Belong.
Do you love cooking and crave meaningful conversations?
Eat & Encounter is an initiative by the Council of Lutheran Churches’ Student Chaplaincy and the International Lutheran Student Community (ILSC), designed to bring university students and young adults together to share food, culture, and friendship.
We meet twice a month at the Luther Hub, located in St. Mary’s German Lutheran Church (10 Sandwich St, London WC1H 9PL) on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
What’s It All About?
Eat & Encounter is a space to:
- Explore international cuisines and share your own cultural food traditions
- Engage in thoughtful conversations with students and young adults from around the world
- Build lasting friendships in a relaxed and welcoming environment
- Celebrate diversity and discover the values that connect us across cultures
This activity is open to all university students and young adults (35 and under). It takes place in a safe and inclusive space where everyone is welcomed and respected regardless of ethnic, religious, or gender identity. All are warmly welcome to join!
